Come join us at Newport Beach Civic Center Park on February 28, 2026 at 2:00 PM (Pacific Time) to celebrate World Wildlife Day by planting beautiful flowers that attract hummingbirds. Let's help precious hummingbirds thrive in their natural habitat!
What you’ll do
- Plant native flowers with our team + community volunteers
- Learn about local hummingbirds & butterflies (and the habitat they need)
- Pick up simple, practical tips for pollinator-friendly planting at home
- Help beautify Civic Center Park while supporting local wildlife
Same-day World Wildlife Day program!
- Art Exhibits / Painting Activities / Exhibitors: 2:00–5:30 PM
- Wildlife Talks & Special Pollinator Presentations: 3:00–3:45 PM
- Plant for Hummingbirds (Community Planting): 3:45–5:30 PM
