Join Avery, Wildlife Interpreter and freelance artist for this very special, second ever event at the Preserve. 🫎 Participants will be introduced to artistic field notes and nature drawing as tools for close ecological observation. Together we practice slowing down, sketching, recording questions, and noticing patterns in the surrounding landscape.
🦬 Avery will demonstrate how to document animals, plants, and uncertainty directly in our sketchbooks. Participants will experiment by developing a visual study based on what they’ve learned and observed during their visit.
🦉 2 hours walking around the lower loop of the Preserve - guided by the sights and inspiration found through your time at the Preserve
