About this Event
Kick off Earth Week 2026 with a wildflower planting event at McMaster Forest Nature Preserve! In collaboration with the Carolinian Canada Coalition, Nature at McMaster will be planting beautiful native trees and shrubs to revitalize the ecosystem and support wildlife. This event is a great way to get out in nature, celebrate spring, and support your local environment!

Accessibility Notes:
- There are no washrooms available on site
- We will be working in muddy, uneven terrain with some small slopes.
- Planting may require kneeling on the ground. For those for whom this is challenging, we recommend pairing up with another event attendee and dividing roles (for example, one person digs holes and the other person plants the plants and fills in the holes).
- If you are unsure how to use any of the tools provided, please ask any Nature at McMaster staff in attendance and we would be happy to assist you.
- If you feel unwell at any point during the event, please inform a Nature at McMaster staff member immediately.
- If you have any accessibility questions or concerns, please let us know and we will be sure to address them to the best of our ability.
