Wilderness Inquiry Canoemobile at Chattahoochee Nature Center

Cancer Support Community Atlanta is partnering with Chattahoochee Nature Center and Wilderness Inquiry to provide a unique experience on the water. Participants will paddle large canoes with trained outdoor educators and learn firsthand about their waterway. Each canoe has one trained captain and can accommodate 9 others. The experience is great for first-time paddlers and experience paddlers alike. Paddlers will have a fun time learning in the canoes and experience firsthand the ecology, science, history, and geography of the Chattahoochee River in a short, beginner-friendly canoe trip. We will also be supplementing this on-water experience with access to CNC’s 127 acres of forest, wetland, and river habitats. A picnic lunch will also be provided.
