Saddle up at Middlebrook Farm for the new Wild Wild Western Ride, brought to you by the Iowa Bicycle Coalition in partnership with Middlebrook! Ride the legendary Great Western Trail where cowboys meet cruisers for boots, bikes, and big frontier fun. Round up your posse, strap on your helmet, and enjoy food and drinks along the route as you blaze the trail. With western flair, wide-open paths, and a rootin’-tootin’ good time from start to finish, this is your chance to roll Western-style and make miles of smiles on the Great Western Trail. 🤠🚴♂️
What to expect on the ride:
- A 32-mile ride on paved trail with a bit of climb, making it a great training ride!
- Kick off the fun with a Friday night packet pickup experience at Middlebrook's Friday's at the Farm
- Enjoy live music by Gladys Lite , food trucks, a local vendor market, drinks from the Middlebrook Mercantile Wine Wagen, and more!
- Easy, on-site parking at Middlebrook Farm Saturday morning
- Tie your custom Bike Rags bandana around your neck for some western flair
- Fuel your ride with a complimentary breakfast burrito at Wilson's Orchard
- Sip on some free cider samples at Wilson's
- Hitch your bike at the watering holes conveniently located off the trail and take advantage of drink specials for registered riders
- Dress up in your finest western wear and participate in the costume contest at Iowa Distilling Company
- Hang up your hat at Middlebrook Mercantile for drinks, music, and dancing
