Spend a summer evening immersed in wildlife, conservation and great food at Watatunga’s Lakeside BBQ experience.The evening begins with a one-hour guided trailer tour of the reserve, led by our Reserve Manager. You’ll explore Watatunga’s wide-open Norfolk landscape while learning more about the rare and endangered species that call it home, with insight into the conservation work happening behind the scenes and the stories that make the reserve so special.
After the tour, you’ll head to our lakeside BBQ area to relax and enjoy a venison-led feast. Expect beautifully cooked, locally sourced venison served with a fresh, seasonal selection of salads and sides. Simple, high-quality food enjoyed in a peaceful outdoor setting overlooking the water.
Still water will be provided, and guests are welcome to bring their own drinks to enjoy throughout the evening.
