About this Event

The last Wild Nite Nature Presentation of the 2025.2026 season - the topic is Raccoon Rescue. The raccoon is the Wild Amelia Critter of the Year for 2025.2026.

The presentation will focus on facts about raccoons and they are important to our local ecosystem. There will be a discussion on the common myths and misconceptions. Information on wildlife rescue, and what to do if you find a wild animal in need of help. We will learn about a local rescue, Tows and Tails, and the story of their educational ambassador, Crystal. It is a story you do not want to miss!

Expect lots of cute raccoon merchandise and a new book on Crystal's story.

A cash bar and snacks will be available.

The speaker is Kristen Littles, Director of Tows and Tails, a licensed rescue for raccoons with disabilities. Kristen is also the caregiver to the rescue's educational ambassador raccoon, Crystal.
