Wild Honey Presents the long-awaited premier of Justin Fielding's THE POWER POP MOVIE with short set of power pop from THE DERRICK ANDERSON COMBO, featuring Jon Levy, Fernando Perdomo, and Nick Vincent on drums.
Derrick Anderson, a native of Toledo, Ohio has toured and recorded with The Bangles, the Kinks’ Dave Davies, Translator’s Steve Barton, Susanna Hoffs, The Smithereens, Matthew Sweet and fits in the occasional gig with The Cowsills. He is currently the touring bassist with Marshall Crenshaw. Derrick’s memorably melodic bass playing and songwriting are showcased on two critically acclaimed releases by his former band The Andersons!. His bass work can also be heard on two posthumously released Pete Ham (Badfinger) releases,7 Park Avenue and Golders Green. Anderson's premiere solo album A World Of My Own is available on Omnivore Recordings.
Sunday August 17th, Doors at 6pm, Music at 7pm, Movie at 8pm. Pizza and non-alcholic beverages will be served btw 6 and 7pm. Drinks are $2 and Large Pizza slices from Bagel and Slice are $10.
