Wild Basil is an Italian restaurant experience created especially as a fundraiser for the Roanoke Seventh-Day Adventist Church School. Inspired by the freshness of spring and the flavors of traditional Italian cooking, this special evening brings together community, good food, and a meaningful cause.
Guests will enjoy a five-course Italian dinner featuring whole-food plant-based and vegetarian dishes, highlighting fresh herbs, seasonal vegetables, fresh bread, delectable desserts, and classic Italian flavors. Each course is thoughtfully prepared with wholesome ingredients while offering delicious options for everyone at the table.
Adding to the charm of the evening, students from the school will serve as the restaurant staff, greeting guests, and serving courses. Their participation makes the event both fun and meaningful, as they help raise funds to support their school.
Set in a spring-inspired atmosphere, Wild Basil will feel like a small neighborhood Italian garden filled with laughter, conversation, and the aroma of fresh basil and herbs.
