About Nick Finzer:
One of the most dynamic and forward-thinking trombonists of his generation, Nick has toured the globe, released seven critically acclaimed albums, and earned two ASCAP Young Jazz Composer Awards. His 2024 release Legacy, honoring trombone legend J.J. Johnson, topped the JazzWeek Radio Charts for three consecutive weeks, cementing him as a leading voice in modern jazz.
As a passionate educator, Nick made history in 2018 as the inaugural Professor of Jazz Trombone at the University of North Texas, mentoring the next generation while inspiring audiences worldwide.
