About this Event
Join NAWIC for an exclusive jobsite tour of the historic Sutton Place building renovation, which will be transformed into student housing supporting the Kansas Health Science Center–Kansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (KHSC-KansasCom). This exciting project expands housing options for students and connects directly to the medical school via a skywalk.
The KHSC-KansasCom development is serving as a catalyst for revitalizing five historic buildings, helping create a vibrant corridor along William Street just south of Douglas Avenue.
Tim Brockman with Coonrod & Associates will lead the tour, giving us the opportunity to view multiple stages of construction and renovation in progress.
Important Reminders:
• PPE is required: hardhat, high-visibility vest, steel-toe boots (or at minimum enclosed-toe shoes), and protective eyewear.
• Parking downtown is limited and paid—please plan to arrive early and expect to walk.
Lunch on your own will follow the tour at Niche 124 S Broadway Wichita KS 67202
