About this Event
Why I Love Atlanta is back, and we’re kicking off the 2026 series with a community conversation rooted in Black History Month and the celebration of 100 years since Black History was formally established in America.
Moderated by Ann Hill Bond, this gathering reflects on how Black history lives beyond textbooks through our families, our neighborhoods, and the work we do every day. Together, we’ll connect Atlanta’s past and present through personal storytelling and shared reflection, honoring the city’s role as a center of Black culture, leadership, resistance, and possibility.
This conversation features:
- William “Bam” Sparks, strategist, entrepreneur, and Co-Founder/CMO of Culture Wireless
- Shannon H. Longino, Senior Vice President, Truist Bank
- Adah Pittman-DeLancey, marketing and communications strategist
