Why does Pre-Raphaelitism matter now?
Contemporary interventions in art and literature
This Dialogue Day, funded by Midland4Cities and hosted by Birmingham City University, will be a free one-day symposium bringing together academics, professionals (curators, writers, etc), doctoral students and potential doctoral students to consider why interdisciplinary Pre-Raphaelite Studies is a growing field, and why this is significant. There will be opportunities for networking and careers discussions as well as sharing of research projects. All are welcome to attend, regardless of current role or funding status.
Programme available soon, but keynote speakers are Dr Dinah Roe (Oxford Brookes) and Professor Meaghan Clarke (University of Sussex), with papers from current doctoral students, a panel discussion, careers and networking, concluding with a drinks reception. All refreshments provided.
