Why did the Salamander Cross the Road?Wednesday, April 9th at 6:00pm at MooseWood Nature Center
To reproduce, of course!
As the winter snow and ice melt, woodland ponds fill up and amphibians come alive. This program is being offered by Easton Zivnoska and Grace Souza, in partnership with Critter Classroom. Program will provide an informative discussion on one of our native salamanders, the blue-spotted salamander. Behavior, adaptations, habitat, morphology, and how we can help them thrive will be discussed.
Suggested age range: 10 years and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. To support the nature center, suggested donations are $5/child or $10/family.
