About this Event
Dada is an early 20th-century international, anti-art movement formed during WWI (c. 1916) as a radical, nonsensical, and satirical reaction to the horrors of war and bourgeois societal values. Here we are again in similar times needing an equally strong movement.
Join us for Who's Your Dada: An Anti-Art Art Class, a dynamic and playful workshop happening every third and fourth Thursday! This two-hour session is designed to break down creative barriers and inspire artists of all levels - beginners and experts alike- to explore art in bold, unconventional ways.
In this workshop, you'll dive into the spirit of Dada, challenging traditional notions of art, authority, social norms all while embracing spontaneity, chaos, and experimentation.
Through a series of provocative exercises you'll unlock new approaches to creativity, push past creative blocks, and discover the joy and catharsis of making art without rules or expectations.
Whether you're looking to shake up your creative routine or simply want to have fun with art in a supportive environment, Who's Your Dada offers a unique opportunity to reimagine how you create. No prior experience needed
-just bring your curiosity and an open mind!
