Come one come all to our first EVER whole hog butchery class in EASTERN MARKET at Marrow in the Market!!!!!
We're taking a soup to nuts approach - breaking down the whole hog, showcasing our favorite old-world methods, pairing classic techniques with new ideals to create those perfect cuts of meat you so graciously order from us each day. Then we'll pass the baton to you, offering you the chance to practice, heck, butchering a whole hog can be a lot of work! Plus, we firmly believe the best way to learn is to do.
Don't forget to add on the "I made this" package! You'll walk away with a bag full of all the goodies you just cut so you can check off dinner for the next day or two!
As always, we'll be serving you a little bit of charcuterie and a beverage or two. Come hungry!
