Who should workers vote for?

The Tories are on their way out, but Starmer's Labour won't fight for us - who should workers vote for?

Hosted by the Socialist Party and Socialist Students as part of the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition (TUSC)

Fourteen years of Tory government look set to come to an end on 4 July, 2024. Fourteen years of the super-rich raking in £billions, while the rest of us suffer falling living standards and crumbling public services. No wonder millions will be rejoicing to see the back of Sunak and his cronies. Unfortunately, however, a Starmer ‘New Labour’ government is not going to act in the interests of the working-class majority. In Starmer's own words "the slate has been wiped clean" since 2019, meaning that Corbyn and his pro-working class policies have been thoroughly defeated within the Labour Party.

Come join us at Ark-T @ The Venue for an exciting event discussing the way forward for workers at the elections, and the tasks workers will have to confront post-election.

The scale of the crisis facing the working class is greater than any one individual, group, or trade union can tackle alone - especially when the current capitalist politicians fail to represent us. The workers' movement must again become explicitly political in order to take the struggle forward.

If you're a trade unionist, anti-war activist, or socialist - we want to hear from you!
