You are invited to an evening of stories and songs with Drew Dietle, who will be sharing from the piano about the character Leaf Waterbird.“Who is Leaf Waterbird” is a 90 minute variety show including songs from the piano and with guitar, as well as stories and background history about holistic health, the conventional medical system, and our current political/sociocultural moment. It is an adventure and a psychological thriller.
Bring your own squish! There will be folding chairs and space to move during the show for people who want to get comfy or move around.
We will start with a brief (15 min) opening circle at 6:30pm for attendees to share their names and an introduction. Regenerative Ryan will perform an opening set and then we will listen to a 10 minute recorded songscape from Sea Rios as we settle in for Leaf to take the stage.
Suggested donation $10-20 to cover the space rental and to support the artists, and no one turned away for lack of funds.
No food or drink in the space. The event is not intended for children, but they are welcome if they are able to be quiet and attentive to the show.
Send any questions or encouragement to Drew Dietle on FB messenger if desired.
There is space for a few collaborative artists for this show. If you would like to sing on a song, or play an instrument, please reach out to Drew about scheduling a rehearsal.
Thanks, and I hope to see you there!
