Our regular monthly session our new venue, St John's Centre, Swalecliffe (opposite train station) spacious and warm <3 and where I'm getting great feedback re the acoustics in there <3
(Second Friday of the month)
Time to relax and restore. Apart from the deep nourishing relaxation and the enjoyment of being bathed in sound, benefits people often experience are increased sense of self awareness, feeling more connected to self and life, feeling cleansed or clearer, reduced stress and anxiety, help with pain control, positive mood. You may also receive information and gain insight into yourself and your life and sometimes people have profound spiritual experiences.
During this sort of sound work, as the brainwaves entrain to a slower rhythm, we enter a state of consciousness akin to meditation where stress hormones lower, blood pressure and heart rate drop and the brain’s sodium and potassium levels can be balanced. In this state, cellular regeneration can occur.
The BAST method of sound bath meditation is designed to help facilitate this very deep relaxed state. People usually find sound an easier way to achieve this state than by meditating.

Below is feedback from previous Soundbaths
“I went to a gong bath in A Quiet View in Kingston, near Canterbury. It was a magical event put on by the wonderful Naomy Raven. Do check out her work. I’m mega impressed.”
“I’m sure Naomy Raven could explain it better. It’s aural, physical and spiritual experience. We make ourselves comfortable on the floor with rugs and cushions, and close our eyes. It starts gently with the sound of the smaller gongs. We allow the different sound waves to envelop us. This gradually builds up and includes a very large gong. It’s wonderful and absorbing. The sound of the large gong gets louder and louder, not by bashing but in a very subtle way. We also hear the rain sound tube Then it all slowly fades away and allows us to embrace the silence.”
“I just wanted to say a big Thank you for the lovely sound bath yesterday🙏🏼
I can’t believe how quickly it went! I almost felt as though my body was weightless and floating. Incredible to feel the vibrations of the bowls/gong throughout my etheric/physical body and I felt a very powerful sense of release especially in my solar plexus. I immediately felt grounded once I got out into the fresh air and feel great today 🙂” A. B.
“H and I both slept so deeply [after the soundbath] on Thursday night and I felt so rested in the morning in a way that I haven’t for months and H said he doesn’t recall falling that deeply asleep in a long time. Thank you so much!” A.C
“I wanted to say a HUGE thank you for the wonderful sound bath the other day. I was blown away. What a beautiful gift you have, with such a welcoming and calming energy too- I am so grateful to have attended and to have discovered your workshops! Thank you” Lucy
“The session today was incredible, I really loved the journey you took us on with your powerful medicine. I came home and slept for two hours so much to integrate. Beautiful thank you so much” J.B
