Come join us for a wander around Whitireia Park Loop track!๐ณ๏ธโ๐ The basics ๐ณ๏ธโ๐
- Whitireia Park Loop is a well-maintained track around the coast with an optional moderate hill climb.
- The walk is approx 7 km and usually takes the group around 90mins.
- mostly flat or gentle incline
- Views of the Onepoto arm of Pari-ฤ-rua / Porirua Harbour, and Te Mana o Kupe / Mana Island
- We'll meet in the carpark at the end of Onepoto Rd, near Titahi Bay Boating Club (see map link below).
Please bring:
โ๏ธ sun block
๐ฅช snacks / packed lunch
๐ง water to drink
๐ฅพ appropriate footwear
๐ง rain / windproof jacket
๐ฆฎ dogs - very welcome, but if bringing your pooch, they must be on lead around the coastline area to protect nesting Kororฤ / Little Blue Penguins ๐ง
๐ฉฑ๐ฉณ togs - if you're super keen!
