Create a stunning and unique vibrant clay candle holder and up to two hanging bird or heart decorations using coloured slips and bold underglazes. These can be hung on the wall or displayed on a shelf and look striking by themselves or bring a magical warmth by adding a candle. Around 5 weeks after the class these will be fired and glazed using a clear glaze to bring out the brilliance of the colours, creating a gorgeous art piece to display in your home or gift to another.
Working with clay is good for the soul! Immersing in a gentle creative activity helps to switch off a busy mind, and making these is fun and achievable even if this is your first time using clay.
All materials are provided so all you need to do is turn up ready to have some fun and creativity.

$100 per person, includes all materials, glaze and double kiln firing.
Completed pieces are ready to collect from Normandale, Lower Hutt or Pautahanui. For those unable to collect, I offer the convenience of postal delivery for an additional fee.
