If you've been to KCFF headquarters at the Broom Factory, you've likely seen tons of cool artwork displayed on our walls, storage containers, billboards, and meeting rooms. This September, we're thrilled to welcome multidisciplinary artist Noah Scheinman to the Broom! In a project titled WHITE PINE TRAVELS Scheinman will construct a mobile architectural pavilion with timber used from the 19th century. Equal parts large-scale sculpture, community gathering space, and traveling outdoor cinema, we'll officially launch the project on September 6, which includes a series of short films that will project onto the structure. You can learn more here, or better yet, reserve your spot and check it out in-person!For the launch day, we'll feature FREE events all day long, starting with workshops at noon and culminating with a 7:30 pm screening of ECOTONES and a selection of NFB shorts!
All events are free, but we request that you please follow the link in our bio to RSVP for your selected sections so we can plan accordingly!
