The spiritual teachings of martial arts are lost in the mists of time.
The true essence of traditional martial arts is a spiritual one, known as the "Way" or "Path", and was secretly taught to the warrior castes of East and West. This Path was not merely about physical fitness and combat, but focused on the mastery of mental discipline and the inner battle against one’s own weaknesses (egos) to ultimately achieve true and long-lasting Inner Peace.
