About this Event
For ages 5 and above, adults welcome too!
Join us for two free workshops exploring the painting Whistlejacket by George Stubbs, as part of The National Gallery: Art On Your Doorstep. The painting is featured as one of the 30 true to life reproductions from the national collection displayed in public spaces across the borough.
Together, we will make our own cardboard horse masks using materials provided. You can then drop in to a poetry workshop led by Beth Richards (Page of Wands) to create a poem about your horse, or about something you love as much as George Stubbs loves horses.
Please book one ticket per attendee wishing to participate, as places and materials are limited. Both workshops are open to ages 5+.
