Join The Natural Philosopher every Wednesday for an evening dedicated to exceptional whiskies, featuring our regular whisky tastings, cocktails, and signature tasting flights.

Descend into The Natural Philosopher's whiskey bunker for a fun and informative tasting with Widow Jane on Wednesday 19th November. You'll be guided through a tasting of Widow Jane 10-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey from the Widow Jane Distillery in Brooklyn, New York, and get a chance to taste another exquisite whiskey from their distillery that's not yet available in the UK.

Whether you're a seasoned connoisseur or simply curious to expand your palate, this is your chance to savour in the incredible world of whisky. Grab your friends and indulge in a memorable night of great company and incredible whiskey at The Natural Philosopher.

Widow Jane Founded in 2012, Widow Jane scours the country for the finest barrels of Straight Bourbon & Rye Whiskeys. Hand assembled in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, theybring these to you with non chill-filtration, and proofed with a hard-yet-sweet pure limestone water from the Legendary Rosendale Mines of Upstate New York. Widow Jane also distill every week in Red Hook using the finest non-GMO ingredients, including corn varietals such as Baby Jane that are unique to us and that we have nurtured over many years.

Step through The MacSmith’s and you’ll find The Natural Philosopher — a bar for the curious, a neighbourhood hideout with low lights, strong drinks, and an unconventional whisky list that never stands still.
