Our March Spice Club Speaker Series welcomes Russ Kempton for a journey through American whiskeys. For this special fundraising event you will taste 8 American Whiskeys, lightest to heaviest, not youngest to oldest. You, your friends and colleagues will gain new knowledge and understanding for American Whiskey history, insights, mystic and heritage. The current whiskey line-up includes Blanton's, Eagle Rare, and Colonel Taylor. Additional whiskeys will be announced closer to the date. Russ will guide the tasting experience and will answer questions like: When to add water? What makes whiskey a bourbon? What barrels are used? Can a whiskey have additives?
The event benefits the Friends of The Colony Public Library and will be held at The Colony City Annex building located in the parking lot of the City Hall & Library.
Note: Tickets are required. This event is for ages 21 and up. Whiskeys for the tasting may vary from those in the photo.
