Join us for a fun night of whiskey-themed crafting on Friday, February 7, from 6:30pm to 8:30pm. We'll be making a 14oz fragrant candle in a recycled whiskey bottle at Ranger Creek Brewing & Distillery in San Antonio, Texas.
In this 2 hour class, you'll learn the art and science of candle-making. Choose from six fragrances or try a combination of fragrances to create your own unique scent: whiskey, leather, pine, birch, vanilla and alpine lake.
We'll provide you with a recycled whiskey bottle as your candle vessel and all of the supplies and equipment needed to make one 14oz candle in your choice of scent to enjoy at home or give as a gift!
With Valentine's Day the following Friday, your candle would make a great gift! Or gift tickets to the class and bring your significant other for a fun date night!
Your ticket includes all supplies and equipment needed to create one 14oz scented candle in a recycled whiskey bottle and fun, friendly instruction from Courtney, owner and candlemaker of celyse studio.
Food and drink is not included in the ticket price. We so appreciate Ranger Creek Brewing & Distillery opening up their venue for this class and encourage everyone to purchase and enjoy a drink (or two!) and a bite from a fabulous menu of craft cocktails, wine, beer and food while you craft!
Candle curing process: To safely transport your candle home, it will need to cure and cool for a 30-45 minutes after pouring. We invite you to hang out and enjoy conversation and drinks while you wait for your candle to cool. If you prefer not to stick around and wait, you're welcome to return to Ranger Creek later the same week to pick up your candle.
