On March 12 at 7:00 PM, we invite you to a special presentation of Whimsical Way: A Curious Journey on a Special Street and a meet-and-greet with illustrator Boris Rudelson.
Created for children ages 4–6, this delightful story is written by Gia Susi and illustrated by Boris Rudelson in their very first collaboration. The book takes young readers on a magical walk down a street filled with whimsical houses, lighthouses, and castles — each one sparkling imagination and wonder. Its mission is to inspire curiosity and awaken a child’s sense of fantasy.
For Boris, this project is especially meaningful: it is his first time not only illustrating a book, but also serving as the author of the concept and the designer. His fantasy houses — with crooked towers leaning toward the moonlight, chimneys curling like dragon tails, and windows glowing with untold stories — create an enchanting architectural world full of charm and imagination.
During the event, we will talk about how the book was created, how magical houses come to life on the page, and why nurturing imagination is so important for young children.
Admission is $10 (all proceeds support the development of our cozy space).
