Bring a little Scandinavian charm to your festive season by crafting your very own Christmas gonks (gnomes)! These adorable, bearded figures—also known as “Tomte” or “Nisse”—are said to bring good luck and festive cheer to any home. In this fun and creative workshop, you’ll learn how to create a one-of-a-kind gonk using felt, fabric, stuffing, and other crafty bits and bobs.
We’ll guide you through each step, from shaping the body and assembling the iconic hat and beard, to adding festive embellishments like bells, buttons, or holly. Whether you make one or a whole family of gonks, you’ll leave with something truly magical.

All workshops are beginner-friendly unless stated otherwise, and we provide all the materials you need. Adult sessions are for ages 16+, teen classes for ages 11–16, and family workshops for ages 7+ with an accompanying adult. Everything you create is yours to take home.
