I am so excited and nervous to share with you what I have been working on for the last couple of months! This is truly a labor of love. I am so thankful for the Arts Council of Fayetteville for giving me this opportunity and amazing friends/family that believe in me.
Where We See Ourselves: Rooted in Reflection

This exhibition is an invitation to pause, witness, and see ourselves reflected in one another. Through portraiture, I explore the intersections of identity, mental health, nature, and honoring of the past. The eyes in my portraits remain open yet without iris, creating a mirror where viewers are invited to find their own presence. Fragmented forms speak to the broken pieces we each carry, while natural elements (flowers, roots, and trees) symbolize grounding, growth, resilience, and our enduring connection to those who came before us.
