About this Event
Experience an uplifting evening of choral and woodwind music as Caritas Harmony Ladies Choir joins forces with the Bedfordshire Woodwind Academy Flute Ensemble in a special concert supporting Alzheimer’s UK.
Audiences can look forward to a beautifully varied programme, from the timeless emotion of Danny Boy arranged by Mark Hayes to the gentle lullaby Hushabye Mountain by the Sherman Brothers. The choir will also perform Where the Light Begins, inspired by Jan Richardson’s well‑loved poem, and the heartfelt No One Is Alone from Into the Woods.
The flute ensemble brings its own sparkle with Dvořák’s Allegretto, lively selections from Gilbert and Sullivan, and the joyful Alleluja from Exultate, Jubilate.
Together, the two groups create a rich, heartfelt evening of music, hope, and community spirit, all in aid of a vital cause.
