About this Event
Are you a student interested in business, sustainability, and how capitalism actually works?
Join us for Juncture’s first student event of the year on Tuesday, 17 March.
In this relaxed lunchtime session (with pizza!), we’ll explore a big question: how can capital be used to tackle climate change, inequality, and other long-term challenges?
You’ll hear from Dr Jamie Newth, founder and CEO of Soul Capital, about what real-world impact investing looks like – how investment decisions are made and how finance can drive meaningful change.
is a Business School research centre rethinking how our economic system works, and how it could work better. At this event, you’ll also hear how to get involved in the Juncture Student Collective, a new student-led group running debates, events, and blogs on business and society. If you want your voice in the room, this is where it starts.
Whether this links to your degree or you’re just curious about how money, power, and business shape the world we live in, this is a chance to explore big questions in a relaxed setting. Come along, connect with Juncture, and see how you can get involved.
