— ABOUT HEART TOO ART —
Heart Too Art is a community-based arts education program providing homeschooled teens with meaningful access to artistic instruction, creative exploration, and peer connection — regardless of their family's financial circumstances.
We started with a program for teen girls offering hands-on classes in painting, pottery, crochet, sketch art, and mixed media. We have since grown to include a program for teen boys ages 13–16, because we believe every young person deserves a structured, nurturing space to discover and develop their creative voice.
Where Black Boys Dream is deeply personal to our founder Angela R. As the mother of a young, talented black male artist, She has witnessed firsthand how difficult it can be for emerging artists to find spaces where their work is seen and valued. This event was created to be that space — while raising the funds that keep Heart Too Art's programs running and accessible to every family, regardless of income. We say thank you to the community for support and a big thank you to DLE Radio for being one of our sponsors for this event!
When you buy a ticket, you are not just attending an event. You are investing in a young person's future.
