Where AI Fits in a Security Operations Center

Artificial intelligence is reshaping how security operations teams detect, investigate, and respond to threats. But deploying AI across the threat lifecycle raises a question every security leader has to answer: how much do you trust a system to make the right call at 3 AM? This session led by ISC2 Hawaii sponsors Guidepoint Security and Expel moves past the capability conversation and into the practical reality of integrating AI into daily SOC operations, including where it performs well and where human judgment still matters, and always will. Attendees will leave with a grounded framework for evaluating AI-driven response and a clearer picture of what it looks like when it is working the way it should.
