About this Event

When Women Lead: Caring for Ourselves While We Care for Our Communities
When women lead, we organize, advocate, and fight back—but we also protect our health and each other.

Join DAWN (Democratic Activists for Women Now) for the first 2026 When Women Lead panel discussion, focused on the programs, services, and protections available to women in our community—and why building a culture of self-care is essential at a time when access to care is under attack.

As deep cuts to public services continue, many women are being discouraged from seeking preventative care and lifesaving screenings. This event is about pushing back, sharing resources, and encouraging one another to prioritize our health while we continue the fight for justice and equity.
