About this Event
Wheat weaving is an ancient harvest tradition, where stalks of grain were shaped into intricate forms to honor the spirit of the land and bring blessings for the year ahead. Today, it’s both a beautiful folk art and a meditative, hands-on practice.
In this all-levels class, we’ll start the morning with simple beginner-friendly techniques, break for lunch, then move into more advanced patterns in the afternoon. You’ll leave with your own woven creations and fresh inspiration for carrying this timeless craft forward. These pieces also make meaningful, one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.
Some materials provided. A list of what to bring will be sent before workshop. Please bring your own lunch; light refreshments will be available.
