The April session will feature a presentation on Community Organizing, exploring how individuals and groups can build collective power and create meaningful change in their communities. The forum will conclude with time for public comments, questions, and open conversation. All community members and allies are welcome. 🌈What’s the Tea with Volusia Pride is our quarterly community gathering designed to keep our LGBTQ+ community and allies informed, engaged, and connected. Each two-hour forum creates space for transparency, education, and collaborative conversation as we grow together across Volusia County.
Every session includes three core elements:
🌈 Volusia Pride Updates
Get the inside scoop on upcoming events, ongoing initiatives, and organizational news. We’ll share progress, priorities, and ways you can get involved in building a stronger, more inclusive community.
🌈 Educational Spotlight or Guest Presentation
Each forum features a rotating community partner, expert, or educator presenting on a topic relevant to LGBTQ+ life, equity, wellness, or local resources. This section is designed to uplift knowledge, amplify voices, and support community learning.
🌈 Public Comments, Questions & Conversation
We close with open dialogue—offering time for attendees to share feedback, ask questions, raise concerns, or suggest ideas for future programming. Your voice guides our work, and this space ensures it is heard.
