This year, the NCMA’s Freedom Seder invites guests to honor not only the struggles their ancestors endured but the strength, creativity, and hope they passed forward.Through a powerful artistic dialogue, Jerusalem-based choreographer and dancer Elad Schechter and Durham-based spoken word artist and playwright Dasan Ahanu illuminate resilience as a living inheritance: embodied, spoken, remembered, and continually renewed. Their performance weaves movement and word into a meditation on what we carry from our past and what we choose to keep alive for the future.
