This workshop is designed to be practical, educational, and accessible for everyday people. It is not a technical lecture, but a clear look at how money actually works in real life, and why so many capable, hardworking Canadians still feel uncertain about their financial future.
We will begin by looking at the current reality in Canada. Over 90 percent of Canadians are either financially unprepared for retirement, already struggling, or facing a retirement that falls below the low income threshold. This is not a personal failure. It is largely the result of what we were never taught about money.
We’re bringing together good food, good company, and simple conversations about money.
We will cover:
• The key money concepts most of us were never taught in school or at home
• Common financial myths that silently work against people over time
• How income, taxes, savings, and investments actually interact
• Practical tools and frameworks people can use at any stage of life
• Real before and after client case studies showing what changes when structure and guidance are in place
You will leave with a better understanding of why money often feels stressful, what is actually within their control, and how informed planning can create both peace of mind and more choice.
This workshop is suitable for adults of all ages and financial backgrounds. No prior knowledge is required.
