About this Event
Lincoln Families is bringing this training to Alameda, Solano, Mendocino, Lake, Contra Costa, Humboldt, Tuolumne and Calaveras providers. Vaping has become more popular in recent years so it’s crucial that social service providers are informed about it. This training will provide discussions about the prevalence of vaping amongst youth, warning signs youth may be vaping and risk factors for vaping. We’ll also discuss strategies to talk with youth about vaping.
Please note that in order to register for these free trainings you must be staff, caregiver or volunteer working directly with foster, adoptive or probation involved children, youth and their families in Alameda, Solano, Mendocino, Lake, Contra Costa, Humboldt, Tuolumne and Calaveras only. Participants outside of these areas aren't eligible and will not receive the zoom link
The learning objectives for this training include:
- Identify one warning sign youth may be vaping
- Identify one risk factor for vaping
- Identify one strategy to talk with youth about vaping
