skáče mačka z pôjda,
spadla na koláče,
teraz v kúte plače.
Hojda, hojda, hojdice,
plačte všetky mačice!“

A big part of famous children's stories date back to a time when life was seen as obscure. Of course, we should not view life as self-evident now either; perhaps the discreet charm of the (extra)ordinary simply changed. That said, the meaning of lullabies and/or bedtime stories has intrinsically transformed over the years: before they resembled (mere) evening prayers, but in today’s society they are often mere virtues based on tradition. Are we spoiled by vita contemplativa – just occasionally craving for the unknown that once (reportedly) seemed almost visible on the horizon?
“Oh by the way, if you would really like to know, he went that way…”
Bless you! We are supposed to embrace certain beliefs, but understanding such sedatives deeper is often secondary. Quite usually we are chanting to/about (the already) deceased – superficially wishing for life (t)here. “See you in Nangijala!” is both a greeting and a post-post-postcard to ourselves, from ourselves. Such definitive echoes are supposedly needed to guide us forward in life – otherwise loneliness would break our hearts. Being heard and understood is vital, at the end – or is it so just for now, then?
“You may have noticed, I’m not all there myself.”
Our beloved cats are said to have nine lives – will we get to see them (t)here again? According to tradition, cats always find their way back (home). We increasingly enhance our poor survival instincts by spacetime altering algorithms. Meanwhile cats pop up in our feeds – blue light is said to be ideal for them. However, for some reason they are rarely interested in two-dimensional spaces. By virtue, the virtual may not land on its feet.
“Can you stand on your head?”
