Join journalist and author of Queer Intentions: A (Personal) Journey Through LGBTQ+ Culture, Amelia Abraham, in conversation with queer Bangladeshi activist Mazharul Islam as they discuss LGBTQ+ rights from the UK to Bangladesh today. Mazharul will also discuss his organisation, The Rainbow Tree, a vital platform for the LGBTQ+ Bangladeshi/ British-Bangladeshi community. The duo will also talk about Mazharul's contribution to Amelia's second book, We Can Do Better Than This: 35 Voices on the Future of LGBTQ+ Rights, which brought together incredible queer activists, writers and performers to discuss their visions for a more hopeful future.
