About this Event

Five years ago, there was almost nothing known about how educators can use research well to improve practice. In response, the ground-breaking Monash Q Project has explored this issue with thousands of Australian educators, schools and system leaders. Its findings have now been distilled into a new book.

Please join us for this special seminar to celebrate the launch of the Q Project's new book “Understanding the Quality Use of Research Evidence in Education”– a resource for professionals within and beyond education who want to better understand what using research evidence well means and involves and how it can be supported.

The launch will include presentations by guest speakers - Pasi Sahlberg, Maria Alberto, Shani Prendergast and Q Project Director and author, Mark Rickinson. Professor Lucas Walsh will be hosting the event.

From 5 pm for a 5.30 pm start, light networking canapés and refreshments will be provided followed by speaker input and discussion.
