What is PTSD? offers a clear, trauma-informed introduction to PTSD, trauma responses, and the practical realities of living with trauma in everyday life.
Delivered by trauma-trained staff with extensive lived and frontline service delivery experience, this workshop creates a safe, respectful learning space for people who want to better understand Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, whether for themselves, a loved one, or their wider community.
This is not a clinical training day.
It is a community-based workshop aimed at increasing awareness, reducing stigma, and helping people feel more informed and confident.

- What trauma and PTSD can look like in real life
- How trauma can affect the mind, body, emotions and relationships
- Common misunderstandings and stigma around PTSD
- Why trauma-informed responses matter
- Practical ways to respond with greater understanding and compassion
