6-7 pm: Philosophy Talk by the Speaker
7-7.30 pm: Interactions over Tea/Coffee with volunteers of New Acropolis Pune
About the Talk - Often, we may feel out of balance – going from one extreme of acting with constant stress and pressure, to complete rest and inaction on the other hand.. What is the definition of a balanced life? It is a prominent question in current discussions around well-being but since the dawn of consciousness the human being has sought how to live a more balanced life.
Confucius was a teacher, philosopher and political theorist, and considered to be a paragon of Chinese sages for his wisdom. Based on reverence, justice and kindness, his teachings can guide us to bring some balance and meaning within ourselves and our surroundings.
This event is part of a series called ‘Exploring Questions of Life’
From the dawn of civilizations, we human beings seem to be intrigued by many questions, about ourselves, about the world, and about the mysteries of the cosmos. Join us as we tackle different themes and offer diverse perspectives into these natural questions of life. Let us learn some insights from some of the wisest human beings from both Eastern and Western civilizations, in order to apply in our daily lives.
