Begin the day in Manhattan, KS at the Liquid Art Vineyard & Estate, where premium Vitis vinifera grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay are grown across 20 acres of estate vineyards. Learn how Liquid Art has expanded winegrowing across Kansas, developing more than 100 additional acres through vineyard partnerships. Guests will enjoy four wine tastings, including a memorable sample drawn directly from an aging tank during the indoor production tour. Next, visit family-owned A & H Farm, operated by Andrea and Hugo and their eight children. Named the 2017 Kansas Farm Bureau Farm Family of the Year, the farm blends generations of tradition with modern agritourism. You will enjoy a scratch-made farm lunch featuring local chicken or steak, rice and beans, nachos or tortillas, fresh toppings, and five or more homemade salsas. This is a peek into agritourism in the State of Kansas. There is a great possibility for tulip blooms, though that is always weather-dependent. For many visitors, some favorite activities include visiting and interacting with the animals, walking the flower fields and orchard areas, shopping in the farm store, enjoying time outdoors at a relaxed pace, and simply taking in the scenery. Our final stop will be at the Museum of Art and Light, featuring rotating exhibitions across three floors. Galleries showcase fine art, immersive installations created in-house, and works by emerging digital artists. Each exhibit offers a multi-sensory experience that invites visitors to engage with art in dynamic and unexpected ways. We promise this is an art museum like no other. As we head home, we can reminisce on the adventures in the beautiful rolling hills of the Flint Hills region.Date: Saturday, April 25
