Get ready to brighten up the Hatea Loop once again! Join us for the fourth annual Whangārei Pride Parade, a celebration of love, diversity, takatāpui and community, followed by the fabulous Gaÿla at Pūtahi Park.
Parade Details:
📍 Meet at Pohe Island (Rock n Roll Club / Football Club) Carpark
🕙 Gather from 2.30pm for opening karakia and safety briefing
🚶♂️ Parade begins at 3.00pm following the loop over Te Matau ā Pohe bridge and on to Pūtahi Park
📸 Pausing on both bridges for photo ops - keep vibes high!
Gaÿla at Pūtahi Park:
🎶 Performances, stalls, food, and community vibes from 3.30pm-7pm (or continue on celebrating at our after party at Pride HQ on John St)
📸 Be part of our epic group photo in Pūtahi Park at approximately 4.15pm to commemorate the day
Nau mai, haere mai, everyone is welcome—bring your friends, whānau, and most fabulous selves to celebrate our takatāpui and rainbow communities.
