Te Waka Pounamu welcomes you to the annual Whakaraupō Chase to be held at the Naval Point Club in Whakaraupō - Lyttelton, 20-21 March 2026. This is an annual event that has been running for over a decade and is intended to be a fun but challenging event that offers something to all levels of waka ama paddlers. It provides an opportunity to race in challenging but safe conditions within the harbour, with races courses and distances to suit all abilities. The event is split over two days, with fun chase-style racing, connection, prize giving and kai.
