REO CLASSICS brings together legendary vocalist Terry Luttrell and longtime rock drummer/producer Michael Mesey for a powerful live show celebrating the early music of REO Speedwagon and some of the band’s greatest classic hits.
Terry Luttrell was the original voice of REO Speedwagon and appeared on the band’s first album before going on to front Starcastle. Over the years, he’s earned multiple Gold and Platinum awards and recorded at legendary studios including The Record Plant in Los Angeles, Le Studio in Montreal, and Sarm Studios in London.
Throughout his career, Terry toured with some of the biggest names in rock including Rush, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, Journey, Aerosmith, Boston and Styx, performing everywhere from theaters and festivals to major arenas across the country.
Joining him is Michael Mesey, known for years of touring and recording with Chuck Berry and Head East. Mesey played everywhere from Busch Stadium and The Fox Theatre in St. Louis to Super Bowl events in Miami, and even performed “Johnny B. Goode” during a live worldwide NASA Voyager broadcast.
Michael has also worked on projects featuring Michael McDonald, Johnnie Johnson and David Sanborn, while recently completing the live Chuck Berry release “Chuck Rocks Live,” mastered at Abbey Road Studios.
Backed by a killer lineup featuring Mike Baue on guitar, Greg Shute on keyboards, and Will Polazzo on bass, REO CLASSICS delivers a high-energy show packed with classic songs, big harmonies, blazing guitars, and the spirit of classic American rock and roll.
It’s more than a tribute — it’s musicians who lived it, bringing the music back to the stage with the energy and heart it deserves.
