Ready to take your Wilderness First Responder training further? This 5-day WFR to EMR Bridge course allows students with a current WFR to earn their Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) certification—the entry-level credential in emergency medicine.Students will cover EMS operations, medical and legal concepts, medication administration, resuscitation, patient assessment, and trauma care. BLS certification is included.
EMR is a foundational certification for many fire departments, law enforcement agencies, and government organizations. This course meets NREMT and North Carolina OEMS requirements, and students will be eligible to test for both state and national licensure.
